You know I am a Political Hypocrite, If
I am one of the 42 Republican U.S. Senators (2009-2010)
who had praised the work of the 911
1st responders* saying,
"We will never forget them."
and who then signed the 2010
Republican pledge that said
"Nobody gets nutin'
until we first ensure our rich friends
are very well taken care of."
and proceeded to repeatedly block
and vote against the bill**
that would provide proper medical care
for the first responders and their families.

The bill was ultimately passed after being modified by cutting the benefits 25% so as to satisfy a couple of Republicans - but it still did not get my vote.
